ttc#3, cycle 1, CD2, UCL 28?

Well, when my period arrived I realised that this is it - if we're to go for a September birth, we've got to be getting a move on in the next couple of weeks. Mad. Period started yesterday, so if we struck lucky first time, it would be due 12th September. Obviously I've signed up for the 'September Bus' on Mumsnet, but am still feeling really unsure about what to do.

On the positive side, I feel physically well, and it seems better to 'push on' with having these babies rather than waiting for them to grow up before having the next one as you have to effectively start all over again, and it comes as even more of a shock. I'm 35 next year so can't afford to wait too long if we are going to have four. Edward will be young enough to not really know any different, and will hopefully get on well with the new arrival.

On the down-side is it mad to consider another when it is so tough with two? What will it be like when Edward is barely toddling, still in nappies, and another 18 months from e.g. pre-school etc? Where will the new baby sleep? House too small. Car too small? Will we need a double buggy? Only about another 13 or so days to decide!!!

Took Edward to see the consultant at PRH yesterday and as expected got a big fat nothing. He's huge - picture of health, off the scale for height, so no medicine. Took Elizabeth to a taster session for pre-school yesterday morning. The previous day husband took her to the in-laws and she 'missed Mummy' and wanted to 'go home now' which is unheard of (although we've barely been apart for a year now!) so I wasn't sure how she'd get on. She was initially apprehensive, but I left her there for an hour and she was fine, looking forward to starting in January.

They've been sharing the advent calendar, and we've bought Edward a stocking. She's looking forward to Christmas - getting the tree at the weekend. We've done most of the Christmas shopping, just got stocking fillers and a few bits to get. Got to make stollen and sort out a meal for Nic, Bry and Adrian who are coming the weekend before Christmas.
