I gotta baby!

Quick update - birth story to follow.

Saw midwife on Wednesday 15th September, and all was well. Had niggling period-type pains for most of the day, and sat on the ball doing my ironing, getting the last of my bits and pieces together for the hospital. Sat on the ball at tea-time, and once 'the baboos' were down, rang the hospital, as was unsure about when best to get checked given my Group B Strep status. Got my parents over, and headed over to Shrewsbury, arriving there at about 9pm. They sent us home saying that I wasn't in labour, she could barely get a 'finger tip' into my cervix, and the contractions were frequent just not very severe. I was told to call back when they were five minutes apart and a minute long. Had a bath, had a paracetamol, then decided I couldn't cope with the pain and got my parents back over. Cut a long story short our little girl made an appearance at 3.07am. 9lb 14oz. She wasn't breathing to begin with, but was fine after a couple of minutes. I came out of hospital the following day, and since then it has been a bit of a blur. No names yet, exhausted, not much sleep, Elizabeth and Edward both loving their sister, but some interesting and challenging behaviour from Elizabeth!! Update soon.
