Yesterday the sky was blue and the drainpipes outside were making that funny creaking sound they make when things start to warm up, tempting me outside whilst Edward and Sarah were napping to peruse the garden. The rhubarb has just started to grow again, the blueberry bush has buds on, things are slowly coming back to life. Today - blue sky and warm!! Wiped down the washing line and got some things outside for the first time this year!!
Have been slowly preparing the small bedroom for Sarah (although I'm reluctant to let my baby go!! she's still in the crib at the bottom of our bed with her nappies in the chest of drawers and all her clothes in the bed drawer). As part of this effort I asked a carpet cleaner to come in today, so moved as much furniture as we could and he's done the stairs, landing, our room and Sarah's new room. I'm padding about the house with blue waterproof covers on my slippers waiting for it all to dry. Took the pink spotty curtains down in the small room and put them in the wash. It has gone distinctly cloudy now, so I really hope they dry this afternoon!
Walking still going well. Reading going well. Still not really watching tv.
