Elizabeth gets her first preference school place!

We got the letter this morning confirming that she will go to our first choice of primary school, thank goodness! This is a bit of a landmark (or it will be when she starts school in September). No longer a baby or a toddler, and pre-school days will be over. She already looks so tall and grown-up, and is writing more and more each day, drawing more intricate pictures, and her speech and general vocabulary not to mention the fact that she seems so mature for her age... everything add up to a very good picture for our lovely girl. All her friends are going to that school too, so people that she's known since she was months old, our immediate circle, and friends of friends, plus new friends from nursery. She's already familiar with the school from having lunch there at the adjoining nursery. All in all, a happy bit of news for us!!
