Big boys beds etc

Sarah is about 22 weeks old, and about 16lbs - we got her weighed at clinic last Monday. Since then she developed a cold and a virus (spotty rashy tummy tell tale signs after the fact) in line with everyone else in the family, and the last few days have been quite strange because she has been so uncharacteristically noisy, crying all the time and not wanting to be put down. We've been on a day trip to Leicester to buy MY NEW COAT!!! After many years of trying to replace the massive sack of a coat that Mum gave me while I was pregnant, I've finally got a North Face triclimate and it is great! We also bought some work trousers for husband, then the following weekend (i.e. last Saturday) we had to return to a John Lewis (this time Solihull) to return them. This time we used our Pizza Express vouchers and had a nice meal out though.

We've been to Edward's friend William's second birthday party, and we've been to church - off to Little Fishes (the children's service) again tomorrow morning if we can make it. I've ordered a quilt, mattress protector, two bedding sets, pillows etc for Edward's new bed, and we've just got to order the bed itself and mattress. We don't really want to put him into the bed before Center Parcs as he'll be in a travel cot for that, but we might move Elizabeth into his room before then. She's not keen, but don't really see that we've got much of an option, as it won't be safe for Edward to share with Saro. He's got a great dinosaur quilt cover, and another one with fire engines on which I'm sure he'll like lots. He's also stopped using his highchair as of last week. Decided to put some space between him and Sarah using it, so it is in storage in his room, complete with the new cushion cover I ordered from E-bay (as Edward had pretty much devasted the old one) so all set for when Sarah joins us at the table from mid-March.
