Tough times indeed. We've been through the mill mentally, physically, behaviourally... no time to spare, money leaking out of the house in every direction... hard to remember a tougher time. Edward is tired, tired of getting up so early, woken by Sarah, woken by constant demands of the school run. His tantrums are worse, aggressive, hysterical. Difficult. Elizabeth is still prone to tantrums. Sarah is exercising her personality now, so no longer content to just 'be' alongside us all! She has been waking SO early in the morning, around 4am just after the clocks went back.
We've achieved WEDDING and HOUSE CLEARANCE. It took forever to assemble all the outfits for us all, but we duly set of on Friday 21st October to the Old Rectory in Wem, and had a lovely couple of days despite having to work like dogs to manage the children's appearance at said wedding. I managed to get Amy into her dress and to the registrar on time, whilst having Elizabeth bridesmaid dress on, myself ready, and help with Sarah getting ready too. They managed the meal, I managed my speech, we had to have photos minus husband and Edward, and then I stayed for an hour or so in the evening, then bed!! Now selling a ton of stuff on Ebay to try to recoup some of the huge expenditure.
The house clearance went. Found 'Terry' on the Yellow Pages online and paid him £175 to take the lot, which he duly did. We handed our keys back to the estate agent, never been so glad to see the back of a house!
Edward has started Tumble Tots. Work is hard, really hard. We're supposed to be thinking about #4 and although part of me really wants to not give up on the idea, my head tells me that we are a bit stretched with three small ones. Is it madness to consider??!!
