I can't believe a month has flown by since I posted last. Time seems to have been taken up with plans for sister's wedding (bridesmaid shopping in Birmingham, and hen do on 13th August in Rugby). Husband has been busily working on the house clearance in Sedgley. I went back to work on Thursday 18th August, and took it in my stride. No weeks of dreading it, no feeling horrible about leaving, and when I arrived I knew that nobody would be there, and nothing would be right... but actually my name was at the top of the perspex panel outide the new office, and I have a chair and desk all of my own, all my old stuff lost in the move from the old college has turned up, even my keys opened the office door!! The only down side was that my head of department has upped sticks and left over the Summer, so my somewhat 'protected' status has disappeared. I'm still timetabled to teach AS and A2 so am hopeful that that will continue. Enjoyed my day sans children, being able to think etc, and husband made tea when I got home.
Can't believe there is only one week of the holiday left, so Elizabeth's big starting of school is just around the corner. The three of them (well, not Sarah...) have been driving me mad all Summer, to the point that I was beginning to wonder about going back to work full-time! They fight constantly, and want attention all the time, are so noisy, and just drive me to distraction.
Am considering putting ads up for private tutoring, which would hopefully bring in a little bit of extra money. We'll see!
Sarah has been waking up every few hours, although this last couple of days she has gone more than four hours, so don't feel too bad. We had a weekend away in Leicester, all five of us sharing a room, and that wasn't so great. The weekend was lovely, but the lack of sleep was not.
Have got Elizabeth a bridesmaid dress for £10 on Ebay, and we're watching shoes for me and trying to find an outfit for Edward. The wedding is approaching!!
